HOW INFORMATIVE IS ADVERTISING?

The Yellow Pages is considered significantly more informative than other types of advertising. The strength of Yellow Pages may reflect its image as a "pure" information service. Forty-two percent rate Yellow Pages high (5 or 6). Only 11% rate Yellow Pages low (0 or 1). Print media generally do well. Marketing calls to the home rates considerably lower than the other forms of advertising measured.
