TRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF YELLOW PAGES ADVERTISING
In 1996, the Yellow Pages Publisher Association ("YPPA") participated in a study of advertising clutter and its consequences. The study was conducted by Paul Speck and Michael Elliott, professors at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. A major report was written, based on this study, that considers the strengths and weaknesses of the Yellow Pages compared to other advertising media.
